Requirements

One of the following qualifications is required
- Care Worker Initial Training (Shoninsha Kenshu; formerly Home Helper Level 2)
- Care Worker Practical Training (Jitsumusha Kenshu; formerly Home Helper Level 1)
- Kaigo Fukushishi (Japan’s national certified care-worker qualification)

Ordinary motor vehicle driver’s license (automatic-transmission-only licenses accepted)
Inexperienced applicants and those returning after a career break are welcome
No restrictions on age or educational background
